Fashion in Time

I like to think that FASHION is a blend with material statements, a creation of concepts that allow a person to express him or herself however they desire. Some people have the ability to style themselves with no sweat and others just need a bit of a push to get them bound to their new creation. www.Goop.com gives just that! This blog, created by Gwyneth Paltrow and her team, allows others to explore their interests; not just in fashion, but an overall experience of what's going in our world and the new trends and fads to almost anything you can possibly think of. That's one thing about me, is that I that I love to find new inspirations, so being able to follow her on her journey to San Francisco or reading up on the safest green products allows me to get involved into my own expedition.

On a fashion note, Gwyneth gives the hindsight on how to dress like the runway without leaving you broke.  She gives fashion advice on all the latest trends, such as full-length skirts, stripes, and neon colors and also gives ideas on how to use that old jacket that's been hiding in your closet for days on end.

Personally, I really like that she gets involved and shares so many ideas that pertain to the fab life but also the everyday life that most of us live. It seems as though she wants to give the behind the scenes look to her world and also come up with topics that allow you to innovate your own opinions. 

MY INSPIRATION

Various objects usually inspire me. I love vintage furniture and black and white photography.  It captures a moment in time that you can always look back to. 

My style is usually flirty, romantic, and often consists of light or neutral colors. I also like vibrant colors that will stand out from miles away. It adds color not only to your wardrobe, but your personality as well. Furthermore, I am a lace fanatic. I think that it looks so feminine and desirable in any color.  I guess I could say my style could be called chic with a clash....

  Traveling is also an essential key of my everyday fashion. I love being able to capture so many different styles and trends from various countries and essentially put them all together. I recently went to Trinidad for Carnival, which allowed me to look at so many different costumes, colors, and ultimately different personalities of individuals who are so enthralled by the highlight of fetes. It is a completely different world, but I absolutely love it! 

 In the Dominican Republic, I was able to grasp the nature of pastels and warm colors that keep the city vibrant, which is definitely my style. I think you can take away so many different aspects and create into your own. The architecture, the water, and just the thought of serenity play key parts to who I am and also plays a big part to my fashion.
